Each fee
- Articles of Organization (Form 08-0484): $250. Once, when you form the LLC. Form 08-0484 (Rev. 05/07/2026), read 2026-10-09: 'Nonrefundable Filing Fee $250.00'. 3 AAC 16.065(a) (last amended 2003) still says $150; the form shows what the Division charges today. The Initial Report is due within 6 months of formation; search snippets of the Division fee list show it as no charge. Source
- Biennial Report: $100. Every 2 years, starting in year 3. 3 AAC 16.065(c): biennial report fee for a domestic LLC is $100 ($25 per year late charge). Due January 2 of the filing year (late after February 1). A Division page (search snippet) says an entity registered in 2026 files its first report in 2028, so year 3. Excluded by policy: the Alaska business license (AS 43.70.030, $50 a year or $100 for 2 years, Form 08-4181) that any business needs. Source
Forming in another state instead?
If your business operates in Alaska, forming in another state does not remove the Alaska fees. You register there as a "foreign" LLC ($350) and keep filing its yearly reports. You also pay a registered agent in the other state. We assume $99 a year, a low published price (Harbor Compliance).
| If you live in Alaska | First year | 5-year total |

How to file
You can file with the state yourself: Alaska official filing page. Or pay a formation service to file for you. Services charge their own fee on top of the state fees above.
