Each fee

  • Articles of Organization (Form L010): $50. Once, when you form the LLC. ACC LLC fee schedule (Rev. 3.2026): Articles of Organization $50.00 regular processing, $85.00 expedited. Instructions L010i: 'The filing fee is $50.00. For Expedited processing, add $35.00.' The ACC FAQ says 'You can file Articles of Organization online for $85', which is the $50 fee plus the $35 expedite. An ACC consumer alert (2019) says an online filing without an uploaded document must pay the $35 expedite (same-day approval), while an online filing with an upload may choose regular processing. Recorded the non-expedited $50 per policy. Source

Newspaper publication

Most new Arizona LLCs do not pay for newspaper publication. If the statutory agent street address is in Maricopa or Pima County, the Arizona Corporation Commission posts the notice on its website. Outside those counties, the LLC must publish the notice in a newspaper, and the ACC gives no cost figure (A.R.S. 29-3201). Source

Forming in another state instead?

If your business operates in Arizona, forming in another state does not remove the Arizona fees. You register there as a "foreign" LLC ($150) and keep filing its yearly reports. You also pay a registered agent in the other state. We assume $99 a year, a low published price (Harbor Compliance).
